Today we are releasing Quento Agent Skills: an open, installable skill that lets supported AI agents work with your Quento account in plain language.

Use it from Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Goose, Amp and other Agent Skills-compatible clients. Ask your agent to list recent invoices, prepare a draft, find a client, check paid revenue or submit an invoice to KSeF — without leaving your current workspace.

Ask for the outcome, not the clicks

The skill understands complete invoicing workflows, so you can write requests such as:

• “Show my three latest invoices.”
• “Create a draft invoice for 10 hours of consulting at 200 PLN per hour.”
• “Add the client with NIP 5261040828.”
• “How much revenue did we receive this month?”
• “Mark invoice 001/08/2026 as paid.”
• “Submit this invoice to KSeF.”

Your agent can use Quento to work with invoices, clients, seller companies, products, bank accounts, payment status, analytics and KSeF.

Built-in invoicing guardrails

This is more than a list of API calls. The skill teaches the agent how Quento works and how to avoid common accounting mistakes:

• it resolves the correct client, company or invoice before making a change;
• a supplied NIP or EU VAT number is checked against the company registry before creating a client;
• invoice actions follow the draft, issued and paid states;
• ambiguous payment instructions are clarified before recording a payment;
• revenue and outstanding amounts remain separated by currency;
• when a PLN company receives a price in USD or another currency, the agent retrieves a fresh, sourced exchange rate and confirms whether to keep the foreign-currency invoice or convert the prices — it never silently relabels the amount.

Secure connection through MCP OAuth

Quento Agent Skills connects through Quento's official MCP server using standard browser-based OAuth. There are no API keys to copy into prompts or configuration files.

Your MCP client stores and renews its authorization, while Quento keeps the same account and access controls you already use.

You can now sign in to Quento in two ways: with a password or with a one-time code sent to your email address.

Setting a password is completely optional. If you prefer the email code you already use, you do not need to change anything.

Choose how you sign in

After entering your email address, we immediately send a one-time code to your inbox and take you straight to the code entry screen. From there you can:

• enter the code from the email,
• or select Sign in with password instead.

You can choose your preferred option every time you sign in, even after setting a password.

How to set a password

Sign in to Quento, open your profile menu and select Security.

Your profile menu → Security

Then:

1. choose the option to set a password,
2. enter a password containing at least 12 characters,
3. confirm your new password.

That is it. The next time you sign in, you can use your password or continue using a one-time email code.

Passwords are configured separately for each user. This means that members of the same team can use different sign-in methods.

You can change or remove your password at any time from the Security page.

Select "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen. We will email you a link that allows you to set a new password.

You can also continue signing in with a one-time email code.

Running a business rarely means working alone. An accountant needs to see invoices. An employee handles payments. A partner checks one specific thing.

Quento now has a full Teams section so you can invite people and set exactly what each one can do.

Roles That Match Real Situations

Each person you invite gets a role. There are two to choose from:

• Admin — full access, same as the account owner. Good for a trusted partner or office manager.
• Member — can create and manage invoices and clients, but cannot touch account settings or billing.

You can change a role at any time.

How to Invite Someone

Go to Settings → Team, enter an email address, choose a role, and send the invite. The person receives a magic link and lands directly in your account.

If they have not joined yet, you can resend the invite from the same page. Removing access is one click.

Why It Matters

Most accounting tools either give someone full access or none at all. That creates two problems: either you share too much, or you end up doing everything yourself.

Teams in Quento gives you the middle ground. Your accountant sees invoices. Your employee handles payments. You stay in control.

Some invoices need more than the main client name.

The buyer may be the company, but the invoice should also point to a department, branch, office, or other recipient. Quento now supports that with a new Entity / Recipient section.

You can keep the invoice simple when the client is enough, or add an entity when the recipient details matter.

How It Works

You can manage entities from the client page, where they stay attached to the client for future invoices.

On the invoice you choose what fits the situation:

• Same as client - use the client details as the recipient
• Existing entity - pick a saved department, branch, or office
• New entity - create one directly from the invoice form

If no extra recipient is needed, the section stays out of the way.

Quento shows the selected recipient details on the invoice page and in the PDF, so you can review them before sending or exporting.

You can copy draft, issued, and paid invoices. Cancelled and overdue invoices cannot be copied.

"Can I copy an invoice from a different client to use for another?"

Yes! The copy keeps the original client selected, but you can easily change it before saving.

"Do copied invoices keep their history or payments?"

No - the new invoice starts fresh with no payment history, email records, or KSeF submissions.

"Is there a limit to how many times I can copy an invoice?"

Copy as many times as you need. Each copy is a completely independent new invoice.

Big news for businesses invoicing in Germany - Quento now supports XRechnung, Germany's mandatory e-invoicing standard.

What is XRechnung?

XRechnung is Germany's national standard for electronic invoicing, based on the European EN 16931 standard. It's:

• Mandatory for German public sector since 2020
• Coming for B2B transactions between 2025-2028
• Structured XML format (UBL 2.1) for automatic processing
• Legally compliant when validated by official authorities

If you invoice German government entities or B2B customers, you'll need XRechnung-compliant invoices.

How It Works

Automatic Detection: Quento automatically generates XRechnung XML when:

• Your company is located in Germany (DE),
• Your client/customer is located in Germany (DE)

If either condition is met, the XRechnung option appears automatically - no configuration needed.

Simple Process:

1. Create your invoice (web interface or ChatGPT)
2. XRechnung auto-generates - proper XML structure, VAT IDs, tax codes
3. Download or email - get the XML file directly or attach to emails

What's New

You can now add an accounting email address to your company profile. When you've sent an invoice to your client, use the new "Send Copy to Accountants" button to deliver a standardized bookkeeping copy - completely separate from your client email.

Important: This is NOT automatic. You have full control - send copies only when YOU decide your accountant needs them.

Why This Matters

Two Separate Actions

Sending to your client (with payment instructions and custom messages) and sending to your accountant (clean bookkeeping copy) are now completely separate actions. No more "Reply All" disasters!

Your accountant gets a clean, professional copy marked "For Your Records" - no payment buttons, no custom client messages, just the facts they need.

Never Forget Again

Once you save your accounting email in company settings, it's pre-selected every time. One click, and your accountant has the invoice.

How It Works

One-Time Setup (30 seconds)

1. Go to Company Settings
2. Find the "Accounting Email" field
3. Enter your accountant's email address
4. Click Save

That's it! Your accounting email is now saved for future use.

Sending Copies to Your Accountant

After sending an invoice to your client, you'll see a new button: "Send Copy to Accountants"

Click it and you'll see:
- Your saved accounting email pre-checked (ready to go!)
- Option to add additional recipients (tax advisor, CFO, etc.)
- One-click send - no editing, no customization needed

The standardized email format keeps it clean and professional for bookkeeping purposes.

Your accountant gets a simple, professional email:

This is a copy of the invoice sent to ABC Company Ltd for your bookkeeping records.

Q: Do I have to send copies every time?

A: Absolutely not! This is completely optional. Use it only when your accountant needs a copy. Your normal "Send to Client" workflow is unchanged.

Q: Will my accountant see the email I send to the client?

A: No! The accountant receives a completely separate, standardized email designed for bookkeeping. Your client communication remains private.

Q: Can I send to multiple accountants?

A: Yes! Your saved accounting email is pre-selected, but you can add as many additional recipients as needed using the "Add recipient" button.

Q: Can I customize the message to accountants?

A: No, and that's intentional. The standardized format keeps everything professional and consistent for bookkeeping purposes. Your accountant will appreciate the consistency.

Q: Can I send copies of old invoices?

A: Absolutely! Open any invoice (even ones from last year) and use "Send Copy to Accountants" to forward it to your bookkeeper whenever needed.

Q: What if I don't have an accounting email saved?

A: No problem! You can still use the feature by adding email addresses manually when sending. To save time on future invoices, just add your accountant's email in Company Settings.

Q: Does this cost extra?

A: Nope! This feature is included in all Quento plans at no additional cost.
