Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

At Quento, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company details), usage data (features used, login times), and device information (browser type, IP address). We use cookies for authentication and preferences. When you accept optional analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how our service is used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our service, send transactional emails, provide customer support, and ensure security. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. AI Processing

When you use Quento AI, page context, prompts, and the account data needed to answer your request may be processed through the hosted Ollama-compatible model endpoint configured for your workspace. In the standard setup, Quento AI uses open-source models hosted on Ollama Cloud. Ollama states that prompts and responses are not logged or used for training, and that hosting partners operate under no-logging, no-training, and zero-retention policies. Models are hosted primarily in the United States, with additional capacity in Europe and Singapore. Enterprise accounts can use a private or custom hosted endpoint. If you connect ChatGPT, data requested through that integration is processed by OpenAI under OpenAI's own terms. Quento stores assistant conversation history in your account.

4. Information Sharing

We only share information with service providers necessary to operate Quento (hosting, payment processing). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics which may collect anonymized usage data. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data. We do not sell data to advertisers or third parties.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest. We conduct regular security audits and maintain backups. We follow GDPR and RODO compliance standards.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You can export all your data in JSON format. You can opt out of marketing emails. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

We use two types of cookies: (1) Essential cookies - required for authentication and core functionality, these cannot be disabled. (2) Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) - optional cookies to understand usage patterns and improve our service. You control analytics cookies through the cookie consent banner. Google Analytics anonymizes IP addresses for GDPR compliance. Learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy

8. Changes to Policy

We may update this privacy policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email. The updated date appears at the top of this policy.
